There are so many festivals on offer of varying sizes these days it hard to know what the best festivals for families really are, however there are a many out there that guarantee to deliver amazing memories time and time again;
Isle of Wight Festival -21st to 24th June
This wasn’t on my list of best festivals for families until now. I had always natively issued that children were overlooked in the offerings here – however after following the festival closely in 2017 its now high on list of family friendly festivals to visit. And with 2018 being their 50th anniversary year it is set to be one to remember!

Latitude – 12th to 15th July
Set in the magical Suffolk countryside Latitude is the best festival for families to get the summer season started in style. Latitude offer family camping areas plus family areas within the main festival arena, alongside great music acts, food, wild swimming much more besides.

Deer Shed Festival – 20th July 22nd July
The festival organisers say they don’t have decided children’s areas as ‘they aren’t zoo animals’, but that the whole site is accessible to everyone and you will be welcomed you as though you were their house guests, which you essentially are.

Camp Bestival – 26th July to 29th July
Set to the backdrop of Lulworth Castle in Dorset Camp Bestival is a UK Family Festival institution. With mainstream headline acts, a comedy tent, plenty of family fun (including Mr Tumble) and an onsite spa (yes please!) you can keep everyone entertained from 2 to 82!

Feastival – 24th to 26th August
Love food? Love music? then Feastival, the brainchild of Jamie Oliver and Alex James, is the festival for you. Last, but by no means least on out list of best festivals for families, you’ll find the main stage is a hub of activity all weekend. Combine this with live cookery demonstrations from top chefs, cooking lessons, food markets, farm animals and a kids den and you have something that the whole family will enjoy.
